I've come to realize that it truly is the simple things in life that really do make life worth while. Right, there are the big milestone events... getting your driver's license, transition from high school to college, being able to vote, turning 21, etc. However, the little things, in my opinion, make the difference.
In friendships and relationships, it's the little things that can make or break something. I've seen relationships fall apart from the little things building up to the point of an awful explosion.
In relationships, it's not about the materialistic things... it's about the one phone call just to say hi, or a smile that brightens someone's day, or doing something spontaneous on whim, or a two-hour conversation about nothing important... just talking.
Little blessings, that's what the simple things are.
